Non-stop magenta flowers all summer and a polite sense of natural abundance without the baggage from more aggressive performers that might choke out the other players. Part sun and good soil will carry it even without supplemental irrigation. New growth is chartreuse, so pairing it with Angelina Sedum, other yellow green foliage out of full sun and real dark green leaves like Sarcococca, Huckleberry and Azara work. It’s non-existent in NW winters, so find other plants to cover the ground year round and let this one skip around and over them in summer.
